The Founder
Among the activities that settled in the city of Chivasso and had resonance at national and international level, the distilleries should be emphasized and among these in a very particular way the one founded by Antonio Parigi (1850 - 1904). Son of Giuseppe and Giuseppina Ferraris, Antonio married Giovannina Cossale, who in turn had four children: Francesco, Lamberto, Fernando and Giuseppina.
Business agent, sales representative Antonio Parigi was gifted with entrepreneurial spirit and skills that soon led him to start his own business.

The Birth of the Distillery
First in partnership with Garetti and Graziola, he set up a liquor company called "Garetti - Parigi - Graziola".
Not long after he began the business alone from 1 January 1890, arranging the business for the production of Vermouth and liqueurs in the property of the powerful Crosa family.
The Expansion
In 1895, the year in which Carlo Gancia, the famous sparkling wine producer, left Chivasso for Canelli, Antonio Parigi bought the building with an adjoining distillery, located at number 15 in via Torino, restoring and refurbishing it.

The International Rise
In 1904, the year of his untimely death, Antonio Parigi obtained authorization to trade with the Canton of Ticino, in Italian Switzerland. His eldest son Francesco took over with his brother Fernando collaborating on the commercial side.
Upon his death in 1952, he left his second wife Paola Grosso as heir, who carried on the business until 1964, the year of the cessation of production.
The Exhibitions
Among the events that the company did not miss in those years there were various Universal Expositions. And on the occasion of the 1911 Turin International Exposition, organized on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Unification of Italy and considered one of the most important events in the city, the company presented for the first time the Vermouth of Turin GrandsPrix.

The Exports
White vermouth was the only one sold in the Italian colonies, as evidenced by the advertisements with Ascari (indigenous African soldiers enrolled the Royal Italian Army), due to its lighter and more drinkable aromatic profile.
The Proliferation of Products
During the life of the business, from 1890 to 1964, the company marketed a variety of notable liqueurs and spirits, winning various prizes and awards at a national and international level.
